An IC chip with streamlined security function compatible with Felice Lite-S

Felica Lite-S is a new IC chip with streamlined security function fully comaptible with Felica Lite for utiziling Felica lite infrastructure. With its streamlined security function, Felica Lite-S is the ideal solution for identification card, point card certificate, electronic ticket or other online services where security function is crucial. Felica Lite-S is also cost effective from its downsized IC chip.
Mutual authentication utilizing MAC
FeliCa Lite-S has read-access control and write-access control functionality due to the use of MAC to prevent any unauthorized access. The function to generate a MAC on "FeliCa Lite-S" makes it possible to carry out streamlined mutual authentication between the product and the reader, supporting secure application development.
Compatible with Felica and NFC embedded smartphones

Felica Lite-S can communicate with NFC/Felice embedded smartphones which make use for smartposter, DM postcards and online services.
